2008 High School Scholarship Program
IAA Credit Union appreciates the opportunity to help our members with the high cost of attaining a college education. We will award a $1,500.00 scholarship to one High School Senior each year based on the criteria outlined in this application. Please let us know if we can help, or answer your questions with the application process. “We wish you the very best in your pursuit of higher education!”
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of points scored based on the following criteria: Academic Performance (20 points), Activities (20 points), References (10 points), Essay: “Promoting banking services to my generation” (50 points).
ELIGIBILITY
All applicants must meet the following general criteria to be considered for an
IAA Credit Union (IAACU) Scholarship.
1. Parent(s) must be an IAA Credit Union member.
2. Must have graduated or will graduate from high school during the
2007-08 academic year.
3. Must be accepted for enrollment or be enrolled at an accredited college,
university, or community college.
4. Must exhibit potential for successful completion of course of study.
5. May not be a child or relative of an IAA Credit Union employee or Board of
Director.
6. Parent must be an employee of the IAA Family of Companies.
APPLICATIONS
Applications may be obtained from any IAA Credit Union branch, downloaded here, or requested via email here.
The application period will be from April 1 to May 30, 2008. Completed applications must be received at the IAA Credit Union main Branch at
808 IAA Drive, P.O. Box 2901, Bloomington, IL 61702-2901 on or before
May 30, 2008, no later than 4:30 p.m. Supporting materials must accompany the application packet.
