Understanding Bill Payment
Bill Pay may be great for paying your bills all in one place, but we know it can be a bit confusing to new users.
What is Bill Pay?
Online Bill Pay is a great service for you to pay bills without writing checks or paying over the phone. Set up automatic recurring payments for monthly bills, and pay all your bills in the same place!
Who can use Bill Pay?
You can use Bill pay! Bill Pay is FREE for our Platinum Checking account holders and Dollars and Sense checking account holders. For all other members, there is a $6 monthly fee.
Enrollment:
To sign up, click on the Bill Pay tab in your online banking, and click to enroll. Then, keep an eye out for your approval. We will review your application shortly.
Sending a Payment:
Your payment through Bill Pay may be sent as a check, even though you "pay online". Some smaller companies (like local town utilities or smaller shops) do not have the capability to accept electronic payments. If this is the case, you will want to allow enough time (7 to 10 business days) for the check by mail to reach the payee. You should send online payments in advance as well, as Electronic Payments can take up to 3 business days to process.
