What is Greenlight?
IAA Credit Union has partnered with Greenlight to help parents raise financially-smart kids. Greenlight is the loved, trusted financial education app and debit card for kids and teens that allows parents to instantly send their kids money, set up chores & allowances, create savings goals, and more. IAA Credit Union members who register for Greenlight via the unique link and add their IAA Credit Union account as a funding source will receive Greenlight for free*. Parents can add up to 5 kids, each with their own debit card. Once registration is complete, debit cards will be shipped out for each child. When the cards arrive in the mail and are activated they are ready for use!
What our members receive with our partnership
- IAACU members are eligible for a subscription to the Select Plan when they connect their IAACU account or debit card to their Greenlight account.
- Set up parental controls on spending. Turn cards on or off from within the app. Feel confident with the ability to block unsafe spending categories, and that Greenlight's support team is available 24/7.
- Parents can send money instantly, set flexible controls, and receive real-time alerts while kids monitor their balances, set their own goals, and learn how to manage their money.
- Access to hands-on learning — with videos, quizzes, and other built-in lessons on how to earn, save, spend wisely, invest, and more.
