Wire Transfers
You can initiate a wire in the main branch (808 IAA Drive) or by contacting our Service Center for further wire instructions at 800-676-2541. Please note: We no longer accept wire transfer requests by fax.
Yes, funds can be sent internationally. Please provide the foreign bank’s SWIFT code and IBAN (International Bank Account Number).
Domestic wires are $25.00 and international wires are $50.00.
It is strongly recommended either you or your receiver contact the financial institution for their wiring instructions.
Generally, you will need:
- The name of the financial institution
- The address of the financial institution
- The routing number of the financial institution
- The name of the beneficiary of the funds
- The address of the beneficiary
- The account number of the beneficiary
- Any special instructions

ACH Transfers
Step 1: Complete a short and quick registration form in External Transfers. If you want, you can register the accounts you hold at the IAA Credit Union at the same time.
Step 2: For your protection and security, IAA Credit Union will verify the information entered by you within 3 days from the day you submitted your registration form.
Step 3: You will be notified by email the status of your registration. The email will also contain simple instruction of your next steps.
Initial registration and IAA Credit Union accounts verification: For your protection and security, IAA Credit Union will verify the personal information entered by you in the registration form. This is to ensure that the request for the service has come from nobody else but you.
You will be notified by email the status of your application within the 3 days. If you have any questions, you can contact IAA Credit Union Customer Service by sending an email to [email protected] or call at 800-676-2541.
Account verification: For your accounts that do not reside at IAA Credit Union, you will be required to get them verified. For most of the major banks, credit unions and brokerages, we can complete online confirmation of individual accounts for which you have Internet access in less than a minute. For other accounts, we will ask you to complete a trial deposit verification procedure, which generally takes 2- 3 business days. You can send money to someone using:
Email address: Your contact will receive an email with instructions on how to direct the payment into his or her bank account.
Mobile number: A text message will be sent to the recipient on your behalf with instructions on how to direct the payment into his or her bank account. If the recipient does not respond to the payment notification after 3 days, a reminder text message will be sent on your behalf to the recipient reminding them to act on the payment notification. You may want to tell your contact that standard Message and Data rates may apply.
Bank account information (routing and account number): The money will be directly deposited into your contact's bank account. You will also have the option to send the contact an email.

It depends on the delivery speed you selected to send the payment.
Standard Delivery - 3 business days
Your contact will receive the money in 3 business days if you're sending money to someone who has used Popmoney and turned on Automatic Deposit or if you have provided your contact's bank account information.
If you are sending the payment via email or mobile, your contact must provide his/her bank account information; s/he will receive the funds within 3 business days.
Express Delivery - Next business day
Your contact will receive the money the next business day if you're sending money to someone who has used Popmoney and turned on Automatic Deposit or if you have provided your contact's bank account information.
If you are sending the payment via email or mobile, your contact must provide his/her bank account information by 10 PM Pacific Time in order to receive the funds the next business day.
Please call the sender to edit the mobile number; the sender can edit the mobile number by clicking Activity and editing the transaction.
Do not attempt to deposit this payment! The funds will be returned to the sender if you are unable to verify access to the mobile phone.
Share Drafts/Checks clear accounts at 3:30 PM CST Monday-Friday
Direct Deposits are usually processed before 10:00 AM CST Monday-Friday
We have an integrated payroll deduction program with several of our sponsoring companies including COUNTRY Financial, GROWMARK, and IAA (Illinois Farm Bureau). IAACU is able to accept payroll deduction from any employer able to ACH Payroll funds. Please check with your employer’s payroll department to see if they can support it.
Bill Pay
Yes, you can pay anyone including your cable company, doctor, or Uncle Charlie.
No, the application only accepts payments from demand deposit (checking) accounts.
Yes, just click the Cancel link in the Pending Payments section on the Make Payments page.
If the payee is being paid with either a paper check or an electronic payment, the amount of the payment will be deducted from your account within 2 business days of the payment processing date.
Yes, you don't need an account number to make a payment.
